Professional and caring Yoga Teacher sharing her passion in Thun, Switzerland, during international retreats and also online.

My journey into the world of Yoga began in 2013 when I started exploring it for health reasons, seeking answers and guidance. As I delved deeper, I discovered that Yoga had the potential to support and improve my situation. Although I had been introduced to Yoga back in the 1990s, my initial association was primarily with stretching and breathing exercises. While not entirely mistaken, this perception only scratched the surface of what Yoga truly embodies.

Rummaging through old books I had acquired during my time in America, I stumbled upon a wealth of knowledge about yoga and its various asanas. Gradually, I initiated a personal practice, gradually mastering different poses and refining my understanding of correct breathing techniques and mindful movement. These asana sessions became an integral part of my daily routine, revealing an uncanny familiarity with the movements and breath, as if I had practiced yoga in a previous existence. This connection to my body, mind, and spirit through Yoga proved profoundly inspiring.

In 2019, I embarked on a transformative journey to Goa, India, where I pursued my 200 Registered Yoga hours at Himalaya Yoga Valley, under the guidance of Lalit Kumar—a dedicated student of Krishnamacharya. The decision to study in India, the birthplace of Yoga, felt like a natural choice, rooted in the origins of this ancient practice. This experience plunged me into the depths of Yoga's essence, awakening a newfound clarity in my perception of life. I found answers to questions that had resided in my heart, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of connecting with one's inner self and space.

The profound impact of this journey led me to a realization: if the opportunity ever presented itself, I would return to complete my 300 hours. In a fortunate turn of events, I found myself back in Goa in 2023, reuniting with the school and team that had facilitated my profound revelations. This was a chance to reconnect with my mentor, Lalit, who had generously shared his wisdom about Yoga and life, guiding me toward self-realization.

My decision to become a yoga teacher stems from my desire to share the lessons and experiences from my own Yoga odyssey. Guiding others on their path of self-discovery, helping them unearth their true selves, is my chosen purpose. Yoga, I believe, is the key to unlocking a deeper connection with our bodies, a means to cultivate inner tranquility, and a gateway to explore our inner dimensions.

Through this practice, we learn not only to understand our bodies better but also to cultivate a calm mind. Yoga invites us to explore the vastness of our inner realm, an experience that continues to be both enlightening and transformative.
